Marilyn Cooper Watson was born on June 17,1942 in Jackson County, Arkansas to Jesse James Cooper and Ethel Campbell Cooper. Marilyn entered her heavenly home August 12,2022 at 80 years of age.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years- Freddie Watson; her daughter- Renee Ward (John); four granddaughters, Samantha Lynch (David), Brittani McClure (Glen); Kim May (Chris), Kirstin Ellison (Michael); three grandsons, Adam Ward (Victoria), Chris Ward (Lauren), Johnathan Ward (Lauren Shea); 9 great grandsons and 8 great granddaughters; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
Marilyn is preceded in death by daughter - Karen May, father – Jesse James Cooper, mother – Ethel Campbell Cooper; brothers – JC Cooper, Curtis Cooper and James "Peanut" Cooper; sisters – Betty Cole and Ruthann Thompson, nephews – Don Riley, James "Peanut" Cooper, Jr., Lee Cooper.
The family will receive friends at Forest Hill East on Saturday August 20 th from 9 to 10 am with service immediately following. Bro. Terry Cobb will be officiating.
Active Pall Bearers are John Ward, Adam Ward, Chris Ward, Johnathan Ward, Michael Ellison, David Lynch, Freddy Cooper and Greg Cooper.
Honorary Pallbearers are Don Riley, Ricky Riley, James Cooper, Johnny Cooper, Scott Cooper, Lee Cooper and David Thompson.
