Marion Evans, 87, of Memphis passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Harbor View Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 4th, at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with interment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery South. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. She was preceded in death by her husband Price. Marion leaves two daughters, Alice (Danny) VanLeeuwen, and Gail Moody, both of Memphis; three grandchildren, Brian Moody, Angela Taylor, and Michael VanLeeuwen; and three great-grandchildren, Amanda Via, Tyler Moody, and J. C. Cotter. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Southcrest Baptist Church, 70 Rasco Road, Southaven, MS 38671, or the charity of the donor's choice.
