Marion Pass was born in Memphis, TN on June 30, 1928 to Joseph C and Margaret Pass who precede him in death. He passed away on April 30, 2016 at the age of 87 years. He began working with J.B. Cook, Inc. in 1940, when he was 12 years old, and stayed with them till he became the owner. Marion was a member of the Memphis Clown Unit for the Shriner''s. Mr. Pass was married to Beth Pass for over 37 years until her death. Marion had the unique opportunity to find love a second time with Jeanie Tigrett Pass who is his current wife of over 28 years. He was also preceded in death by three siblings, Eleanor "Sister" Burgess, Joe Pass, Jr. and Max Pass; and by one grandchild, Michael Minor. Marion is survived by three sons, Phillip Pass (Pat), Randall Pass (Donna who precedes him in death) and Arnold Pass (Rita); three sisters, Ruth Laminack, Peggy Vesey and Esther Faye Arnold; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren with a third great-great grandchild on the way; and by two step-daughters, Gail Simpson and Hope Phillips, and their families. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 1-2 PM at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, with graveside service to follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. Services under the direction of Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Al Chymia Shrine Children''s Hospital or to St. Jude Children''s Hospital.
