MARION WAYNE "Poppy" LEWTER, of Bartlett, TN, born June 2, 1936 in Decatur, AL, died June 18, 2013. He was the son of W. Marion and Annie Ruth Marks Lewter, graduated from Elkton High School in 1954, Elkton, TN. He married Glenda Thomas Lewter, June 18, 1961 in Houlka, MS, and she preceded him in death on August 21, 2002. He is survived by his sons, Kevin (Carla) and Keith (Beth); grandchildren, Zach, Matt and Maggie; sisters, Elayne Shannon (twin), and June Coffman, and a host of nieces and nephews. Formerly employed as a comptroller for Fraenkel Wholesale Furniture, professional photographer and owner of Homefolks Photo - Bartlett, TN, member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, local chapter Ring 16, and honored as a member of the Order of Merlin-Excalibur (50+ continuous years of service). He was a faithful member of Ellendale Baptist Church, Bartlett, TN. Visitation, Thursday, June 20, 5-8 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home on Whitten Rd., and from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., Friday, June 21 at Ellendale Baptist Church. Burial immediately following in Forest Hill East Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Ellendale Baptist Church.
