Marjorie "Margie" Davis Porter, 88, of Southaven, MS passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Margie was born in Dyersburg, TN to the Honorable, I.M. and Monterey Warren. After graduating high school she moved to Memphis where she worked for Dr. Mallory Harwell for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by her husband, Jack I. Porter. She leaves three children: Patty Huggins (Steve), Jack M. Porter (Nicole) and Scott Porter (Libby); 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; also a special friend, Keith Munday. Visitation will be Friday, April 14 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. The family request that memorials are sent to St. Jude Children''s Hospital.
