Mark Perry Dorfman was born December 16, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA and died on January 1, 2021.
All who knew him were blessed by his love of Jesus, America family and friends (many on facebook), sports, animals, music and life in general. Mark lived in Memphis since 1971 and worked at the Internal Revenue Service for 36 years.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Henry Dorfman, and his mother, Yetta Kazinetz Dorfman.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Jeannine Bryson Dorfman, his sister, Linda Gail Dorfman, many cousins, nieces and nephews, a sister -in-law, Rosemary Price, and other loved ones. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
Mark suffered from many health issues, but that never dimmed his joy in life and his desire to connect with other people and bring them joy as well. He loved to help others. He is no longer suffering (although he rarely complained), but is perfectly healed in Heaven now.
Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Friday, January 15 at Forest Hill Midtown 1661 S. Elvis Presley BLVD. Memphis, TN 38106
