Martha Ann Brown, aged 92, went to be with the Lord while at her home in Olive Branch, Mississippi on Thursday, October 26, 2023. Mrs. Brown was born on February 5, 1931, in Lonoke, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Leo Joseph Brown; father, McKinley Dixon; mother, Carrie Ann Asker; sister, Ruby Agee; brother, Bill Dixon; daughter-in-law, Linda Brown.
She is survived by her son, Richard Leo Brown and daughter-in-law, Katrina Brown; 5 granddaughters: Aundrea Taylor (Michael), Angela Hernandez (Manuel), Jennifer Kemp (Steven), Wendy Carter, and Candice McDonald (Jeff); 14 great-grandchildren: Alexis McGraw, Javier, Abbey, and Miguel Hernandez, David and Bryan Taylor, Madeleine Kemp, Raelee and Austin Shurden, Hannah Cornett (Johnny), Makayla, Samuel, and Elise Ballard, and Brodie McDonald; and 6 great-great-grandchildren: Abel and John Walker Saunders; Paisley, Johnny Jr., and Laken Cornett; and Korbin Hardy.
Mrs. Brown was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She loved her family and friends and was a homemaker most of her life.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m. and the funeral will begin at 1:00p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Church Road Baptist Church, 3660 Church Road, Horn Lake, Mississippi 38637.
