Martha Louise Berry Guess, 78, of Germantown passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014. She grew up in Golden Gate, IL and graduated from Fairfield Central High School. She was a 1958 graduate of Baptist School of Nursing and retired after 45 years. During her career she worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital, UT Memphis, University of Memphis and St. Francis Hospital, Memphis. She was a member of St. Luke''s United Methodist Church. Ms. Guess is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Martha Berry and a sister, Frances, She leaves two sons: James Guess of Memphis and Wil Guess of Indiana; three sisters: Alice, Madeline and Becky; three brothers: Ed, Allen and Frank Berry. Visitation will be Monday, July 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. with graveside service Tuesday at 10 a.m. all at Forest Hill East.
