Martha June Black born in Pontotoc, MS to Enis and Mamie Willard on February 9, 1934 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. June was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great- grandmother. She was born a twin, alongside sister Jean Mitchell. She has two additional sisters, Francis Roberson and Joyce Williams. She has four brothers; Linder Willard (deceased), Johnny Willard(deceased), Kenneth Willard and Shirley Willard. She married William Grant Black and Bore two daughters, Debbie Holden of Olive Branch, MS and Frances Roberson of Southaven, MS and Neisha Koczka of Southaven, MS. She has five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She has many nieces and nephews and more friends than could ever be counted. June loved life and she loved God. Whether spending her days shopping with Jean or worshiping at church, June always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. She had a calling for serving the Lord and she never hesitated to help others. She had a fulfilling life full of love, laughs and adventures. She rejoiced at the thought of one day standing before our Lord and that is exactly what happened on March 31 when she took her last breath on earth. Though her body may be gone but her spirit lives on forever in each and every life she touched. In June's own words, "I love you to the moon and back!!"
