Martha J. Bowers was born on January 30, 1934 and passed away on October 13, 2024, at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL. Martha was a Customer Service Rep for Canale Food Service for many years. She was a devoted member of St. John United Methodist Church until she moved to Florida in 2016. She and her late son, Darrell Bowers, were regularly active with Friends for Life. Martha had many hobbies and interests including shopping and ceramics. More than shopping, she loved her family and her memory will be cherished by nieces, Brenda D. Cartwright and Patsy O'Hanley, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Bowers, Willie C. and Hazel Cartwright, and brothers, Leaughman Cartwright and Orlie Cartwright. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
