Martha Inez Chambers, 84, passed away at Baptist Desoto Hospital on October 14, 2022. She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, Sam Chambers, her children, Mark and Betty Chambers of Southaven and Scott Chambers of Texas, her sisters Edna Chambers of Southaven, Blanche Gordon of Greenville, her brothers Sonny Furr of Tunica and Jimmy Furr of Huntington, TN, her 9 grandchildren Jennifer Rose, Kenneth Harris, Amy Osteen, Robert Chambers, Darryl Chambers, Matthew Chambers, Chris Chambers, and Danny Chambers, and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Sam and MaeBridie Furr, her sister Marion, Jean, Sis, and Earline, her brother Curtis Furr, her daughter-in-law Laura Chambers, and a grandson Lamar Chambers. Martha was a longtime and devoted member of the Church of God in Southaven, Ms where her fellowship and great contributions will greatly be missed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the American Heart Association.
