Martha Amelia Wortham was born on September 2, 1924 in Alamo, TN to Frank and Grace Connell who preceded her in death. Martha is survived by her children, Barbara Herndon (Jim), Mark Wortham III (Sharon), Tommy Lynn Wortham (Nancy) and LeNell Chandler (Greg); grandchildren, Glenn, Phillip, Nicole, Nanette, Mark IV, Angela, Kelly, Patrick, Ashley, Courtney, Ronnie Jr., Heather, Hollie and John Michael; great grandchildren, Danielle, Glenn III, Megan, Hunter, Mark V, Kelsey, Marcus, Melissa, Taylor, Lance, Nola, Emma, Michael, Emma, Karis, Ruthie Grace, Bree, Amelia Grace, Kaitlynn, Hayden, Miller, Mary Margaret, Tiffany and Cayson; and great-great grandson, Grayson. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 61 years, Mark Eugene Wortham, Jr.; son, Ronnie Connell Wortham; and by two brothers, James Harris Connell and Frank Connell, Jr. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 5-7 pm with funeral services to follow on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 beginning at 10:00 am, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133, 901-382-1000
