Martha Jan Pitts Crawford "Lamby" of Memphis, TN passed away on July 22, 2019. She has been married to her loving and devoted husband, Larry D. Crawford for 55 years. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Carrie Crawford Johnson (David), grandson, Dylan Scott Jarvis, and great-grandson, Dean "Deanie" Jarvis.  Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her parents, WJ and Willard Pitts. Mrs. Crawford was a 1963 graduate of Treadwell High School where she was a majorette and went to the Rose Bowl and the Cotton Bowl.  Mr. and Mrs. Crawford were the owners of Southern Fastening for 23 years, after retiring she volunteered at Elmcroft Assisted Living for several years.  She loved to dance and was a member of The Memphis Bop Club. Mrs. Crawford had an unwavering faith in God and was an active member of Faith Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2019, from 10:30~12:00 pm with her service following at 12:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 Germantown Pkwy in Bartlett, TN.  Interment will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East 2440 Whitten Road. Any contributions please send to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
