Martha Jean Jones, 88, of Memphis, TN passed away on May 29, 2023. Mrs. Jones worked selling Avon over 15 years, and worked for First Tennessee Bank for about 10 years, also she volunteered at Bibles for China – Thrift Center for 15 years. Her last job was being a cashier at Super Lo. She had to quit due to Covid 19 right before her 85th birthday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her parents, Morris Emmett and Lula Mae (Cox) Flanagan; her sister, Sarah Helen Gilner; also three brothers, Ralph Phillips, Thomas Phillips and Patrick Flanagan, and grandson, Joseph Boucher.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Carla Young (Steve) of Horn Lake, MS and Darla Boucher (George) of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren, Toni Mastin Peeples (Carlton) of Callahan, FL, Jamie Mastin Woofter (Israel) of Greenfield, OH, Joshua Boucher (Jennifer) of Memphis, TN, and four more grandchildren on her daughter's husband's side; her great-grandchildren, Gracie Garrett (Dakota) of Ellsinore, MO, Lillian Peeples and Carter Peeples both of Callahan, FL, Parker Mastin, Kyle Horton and Abel Woofter all of Greenfield, OH, Breanna Duckhorn, Joslynn Boucher & Liam Boucher all from Memphis, TN,  also 6 more great-grandchildren from her daughter's husband's side.

Mom you were the rock of our family; the things you gave us, sacrifice, devotion, love and tears, your heart, your mind, your energy and soul, all these you spent on us through the years. You stayed at home until we graduated, made our clothes, didn't miss a field trip and went to PTA meetings. We will always love you and remember forever!
