Martha Louise Matheny, 101, passed away on January 23, 2020, in her home. She was a long-time member of Range Hills Baptist Church.  Mrs. Matheny was preceded in death by her husband James C. Matheny and her parents, LT and Mallie Staples, five brothers and 2 sisters.  Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Robbie Jones of Walls, MS, and son, Jack Matheny (Bonnie) of Bloomfield, Iowa. She had been blessed with 8 grandchildren, Linda Haley (Robert), Billy Hamilton (Shirlen), Mike Hamilton (Debbie), Kim Marking, Kelley Carmichael (James), Konya Shreve (Rob), Kenneth Matheny, Tina Crawford, 19 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be Monday,  January 27, 2020, from 5:00~7:00 p.m. with her funeral service Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East  901-382-1000
