Martha Nelson, Memphis, TN was born in Memphis, TN on October 12, 1926. Martha passed away on January 13, 2016 in Mountain View, AR, with her family by her side. Martha was preceded in death by her husband of over 66 years, Henry William Nelson, Jr.; daughter, Karen Rebecca Hanson; and son, John Henry Nelson. She is survived by two daughters, Martha Hill (John) and Elizabeth Thompson (Randy); four sons, Stephen Nelson (Lorna), Alexander Nelson (Thuong), Christian Nelson and Michael Nelson; brother, Charles Locke (Cam); seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 from 2-3 PM with funeral services to immediately follow at 3:00 PM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Road.
