Martha G. Shappley Farris, 87, of Bartlett, TN, went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2013. She was retired from Kroger and was a member of Frayser Baptist Church. Mrs. Farris is the beloved wife of Howard Farris and was the widow of the late, Rice Shappley. She is survived by daughter, Sue Ann Baker (Ronnie); granddaughter, Kelli Higdon (Randy); grandson, Scott Baker (Christi); three great-grandsons, Parker, Cooper, Tanner; a step-son, Franklin Mask (Peggy); four step-granddaughters; and a host of step-great and great- great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with family receiving friends two hours prior and interment following. The family request any memorials be sent to Bartlett Hills Baptist Church or to Frayser Baptist Church.
