Martha Sue Waddell, 80, of Southaven, MS passed away June 24, 2014. She was born February 12, 1934 in Greenwood, MS. She was retired from Bellsouth where she worked as a telephone operator for 25 years. She was a member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church. Sue is survived by her husband of 56 years, Matt Waddell; sons Bobby Waddell (Donna) of Nesbit, Matthew Waddell (Hollye) of Memphis; daughters Barbara Gassaway (Dean) of Collierville, Karen Wylie (Craig) of Collierville and Kathy Beaugrand of Southaven; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A gathering of friends and family will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm, Friday June 27, 2014 at LaBelle Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. A celebration of life service will be immediately following at 2 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, the family request any donations be sent to LaBelle Haven Baptist Church building fund.
