Mary Evelyn Bartee, 85, of Bartlett, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Collierville, TN. She was born November 14, 1939 in Memphis, TN to parents Thompson and Mary Jo Womack. Mary worked as an administrative assistant at National Hardwood Lumber Association for many years. Mary was an active member at Bartlett Baptist church where she loved to worship. She was apart of the Pistols and Petticoats Square Dancing Club, the River boat Cloggers, and the Sociables Square Dancing Club. Some of her other interests included organizing high school alumin reunions as well as family reunions, she loved spending time on her farm with her sheep and llamas.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Royce Bartee, as well as her daughter, Melody Wren. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Eddie Wren (Kim), her grandchildren: Evan Wren, Brian Scott, and Matt Scott, 4 great-grandchildren, and a sister Barbara Fisher. Mary will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her more than word can express.
