Mary E. "Bill" Carter, was born in North Little Rock, AR on January 6, 1918 to Henry P. Reeves and Maybelle Boroughs Reeves who precede her in death. She passed in Somerville, TN on April 21, 2016 at the age of 98 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God for 86 years. She was faithful in serving the Lord as Sunday School Secretary in S.S. - choir & orchestra, and was involved in the senior citizens program. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of over 45 years, Nathan B. Carter. She is survived by her five sons, N.B. (Brad) Carter, Robert Roland Carter, James H. Carter, Gary Glenn Carter and Guy Wayne Carter; one step-granddaughter, Francesca Grisham; 31 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 2-4 PM with funeral services to be held on Monday, April 25 beginning at 10:00 AM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East, 2440 Whitten Road. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery South.
