Mary Catherine Blackwell, 77, of Hernando, MS died Sunday, April 6, 2014. She was a homemaker and a member of Whitehaven Baptist Church. Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by her husband, Nollan Blackwell, Sr. and her daughter, Patricia Russin. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Tyler (Gaylon) of Hernando, MS; son, Nollan Blackwell, Jr. (Deb) of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Kevin, Kenneth, Nathan, Jamie, Amy and John Brandon; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Liz Smith (Jim) of Ogden, Utah and brother, W.T. Biggers (Juanita) of Friendship, MS. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow.
