Mary Frances Broome, 92, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at her home in Germantown, TN. She leaves behind, one daughter, Deborah Speidel (Rick); five grandchildren, Kimberly Gaynor, Jennifer Stroh (Josh), Tina Broome, Herbey Broome and Shelia Turner; five great grandchildren, Corey, Zoey, Colton, Chelsea and Olivia; and her loving and caring niece, Pat. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William H. Broome; her parents, Columbus and Maudie Hollis; one daughter, Anita Broome; one son, Steve Broome; four sisters; and four brothers.

Mary Frances was a person who never hesitated to help-out with anyone and was generous with her time and many talents. She loved spending time with family and friends, square and round dancing, camping, traveling, swimming and was an avid bridge player. Mary was a longtime member of Covenant United Methodist Church where she was a volunteer assistant secretary and helped with all the planning and organization.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 9:00-10:00a.m. with funeral services starting at 10:00a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home East 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.

Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
