Mary Frances Burchum, 81, passed away October 28, 2020 at her home in Memphis. Mrs. Burchum was a graduate of Memphis State University, where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church. She was a former volunteer at the Memphis Zoo and at the Memphis Public Library, but her true calling was as a mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Burchum, Jr., and a grandson, J.J. Dettelbach. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Burchum, Sr. of Memphis; daughters, Pamela Ingram (Mark) of Memphis, Stacy Hickey (Phillip) of Hernando, MS; sisters, Jareda Johnson (Gene) of Hernando, Billie Ann Cunningham (Joe) of Germantown, TN; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday at East Side Baptist Church, 3232 Covington Pike, Memphis, TN 38128. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at East Side Baptist Church with interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park East.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Side Baptist Church Building Fund.
