Mary Genne Cannon, 91, of Byhalia, MS, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 13, 2012. She was a homemaker and a member of Byhalia United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cannon was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Cannon and a daughter, Nancy Little. She is survived by her sons, John Cannon of Ft. Worth, TX, Kirby Cannon of Memphis, TN, and Mark Cannon (Lynn) of Byhalia, MS; sisters Betty Tucker of VA, Margaret Kirby of Chicago, IL, and Susie Kirby of Oklahoma; grandchildren Quint Cannon, Paul Little, Christine Cannon; and her great-grandchildren, Selina Morris, Cannon Smith, Tristan and Julian. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2012, with graveside services to follow at 10:30 a.m., all at Forest Hill East Funeral Home and Cemetery.
