Mary Idell Childers, 97, passed away on June 23, 2017. She is predeceased in death by her husband and 3 sons. She leaves behind a son, Rick Childers and his wife Sharon of Horn Lake, MS., and 5 Grandchildren. Mary also leaves a brother, Charles Fiveash. Mary was retired as a nurse's aid from Baptist Memorial Hospital, where she was employed for 30 years. She loved to sew and was an excellent seamstress, making everything from wedding gowns to cheer leader outfits. Mrs. Childers loved to grow her flowers and being outdoors. Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, South 2545 E. Holmes Road is honored to have her service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with her service following at 2:00 p.m.
