Mary Jane Kelly Clary 86, was received into heaven on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.  She was born on January 31, 1932 in Sherman, Mississippi.  She was the loving and devoted wife of James Paul Clary for fifty-six years.  She was the caring mother of Chuck (Carole) Clary of Columbia, SC; Chip (Vesta) Clary of Clinton, MS; Carlyn Reynolds of Bartlett, TN; Donna Clary of Bartlett, TN; and Kellye Clary of Memphis, TN.  She was also the sister of Buddy (Bannie) Kelly of Knoxville, TN.  Over the years she worked at Speedway Terrace Baptist Church and served as the Youth Director at Highland Heights Baptist Church. She was a charter member of Colonial Baptist Church and worked with GAs and Acteens. She was later a member of Elliston Baptist Church, Cherry Road Baptist Church and Forest Hill Baptist Church. She was a loving Nana/Gigi to James (Sierra) Clary, Brandon Reynolds, Kristen Reynolds, Hannah Clary, Mary (Mike) Brown, Lurah Foley and great-grandchildren, Connor and Vivian Brown. She is preceded in death by her husband James Paul Clary, her parents, Simon and Mary Kelly, and sisters Carol Kinne y and Ann Oswalt, as well as her grandson, Ed Foley. She made the world a better place through her wit, devotion and love for us and the Lord. Heaven has gained another angel's bright light. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 and with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Hill Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Association.
