Mary Jane Cochran, 96, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Bossier City, LA. She was a lifetime Memphian and a 1943 graduate of Central High School. Mary Jane retired from the Regional Medical Center as assistant manager of her department. She was a devoted member of Union Baptist Church for 85 years and was a charter member of the Bethany Sunday School Class.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles David Cochran, Sr., her son Charles David Cochran, Jr., her parents G.M. and Eula Holland Townsend. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jane Cochran Coffel and husband Dan, of Haughton, Louisiana. Three grandchildren; Kimberly Cochran (Steve Davis) of Seymour, TN, Jason Coffel (Michelle) of Haughton, LA, and Angela Coffel Wright (Eric) of Ft. Worth, TX. Six great grandchildren, Tori, Mackenzie, Bailey, Mikayla, Kian and Kylyn, and three sisters-in-law; Barbara Cochran, Mary Cochran and Martha Sayle. She also leaves an extended family and many longtime friends.
