Mary Etta Cochran  93, was called to her eternal home on November 8, 2024.  She was proceeded in death by her father Charlie Bartholomew, her mother Willie Sue (Brasher) Bartholomew siblings Dewayne, Freddy, and Louise, 2 grandchildren Elijah and Caleb and her husband Max Cochran.

She is survived by 2 siblings Linda and Joe Don and  6 children, Michael Allen, and wife Gracie, Charles Thomas and wife Linda, James Daniel, William Barry, Allie Susannah and husband Joe Bailey, and Mary Annette Parker.

She leaves behind 3 generations of grandchildren. This includes 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, spending time with her family, attending church, and teaching numerous crafts to her grandchildren. A lot of memories were made with her family through cooking, and preserving and making jam out of the fruits from her own backyard. True to her southern roots, you were never leaving her house without enjoying warm meal and accepting a handful of guidance.

Memorial Services will be held at Forrest Hill Funeral Home  East
2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, TN on Monday November 18, 2024 at 12:30 for family viewing and  1-2:00 for public viewing with services starting at 2:00.
