Mary 'Louise" Coggins Blackburn, 87, was received in Gods arms on August 8, 2015. She passed on at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, WY with loved ones by her side. Louise was born October 17, 1927 to Jessie Burt and Dora Jones Coggins. She was retired and known in her Millington community as a volunteer. She enjoyed doing crafts and cooking, and shared many meals with the sick and shut-in people. She loved her church community and was active with Quito Senior citizens for many years. Gardening was also a passion she loved. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Millington, TN. She dearly loved her family, as well as her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Edward Blackburn, parents, Jesse Burt and Dora Jones Coggins, daughter, Vivian Nelson Young, sister, Grace Young, and brothers, JD (Bunk) Coggins and JB (Dude) Coggins. She is survived by her daughter, Annette and son-in-law, Bob Steward of Cheyenne, WY. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, many longtime dear friends, and her beloved church family. A celebration of her life will be held on August 14 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. A service, officiated by Brother Mike Owens, will be held on October 17 at Fellowship Baptist Church. She will be buried in Quito Memorial Cemetery in Millington, TN.
