Mary Nell Colbert Mills, 85, of Memphis, TN passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at her home in the loving care of her family. She was a member of Forest Hill Church of Christ and worked for several companies including Bell Telephone, Kimberly Clark, RCA and local florists while raising her children. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Mills and is survived by her sons, Ronnie Mills (Connie) of Memphis, Larry Mills (Betty) of Arlington, TX; sister, Martha Jo Hagstrom (Eddie); 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. and Retta Ruth Colbert; brothers, Kermit, Leon and Don Colbert and sister, Ruth Colbert. Mrs. Mills was born in Enville, TN and moved to Memphis where she married her husband in 1946. Visitation will be 5:30-8 p.m., Thursday, March 8 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday at the funeral home, with interment to follow.
