Mary Jean Cullen, age 90 went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. born in Detroit Michigan, Jean was a devoted wife and mother of four. She served along with her husband, Dr. Robert M. Cullen, on the mission field in Chad and Congo, Africa for over 20 years. Jean was a former member of Broadway Baptist Church and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Jean loved music and loved to sing in the choir. She was also an active member of the Gideon's. Jean is survived by her one daughter, Sheridee Cullen Roberts of Cordova, TN; three sons, H. James Cullen, of Champlin, MN, Robert Cullen of Uganda, Africa, John Cullen of Carrboro, NC; She leaves eight grandchildren, Todd Cullen, Chad Cullen, Jody Cullen, Robert Cullen "Rob", Randy Cullen, Sarah Cullen , Emily Cullen, and Chelsea Cullen. She also leaves eleven great-grandchildren. Service 2 p.m. Friday, April 19 with visitation 1 to 2 prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery Forest Hill Funeral Home, South 901-346-3250
