Mary Elizabeth (Libby) Hampton Taylor was born in Vanndale, Arkansas, February 16, 1929, to Lee Ander and Elizabeth Mae Hampton. She passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age 93, in Buford, Georgia, after a short illness. She was preceded by her husband of over 58 years, Clyde Taylor. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Glenda Gail Cox, Lynn Mohon (Charles) and Karen Smith (Steve); Grandchildren, Ellen Hampton (Jason), William Lewallen (Dina), Amy Meyer (Nikolas), Rebekah Pounders, Jonathan Lewallen (Cindi), Stephen Smith (Jessica) and Christopher Smith (Laura), and by 15 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with funeral services immediately follow at 11 a.m., all at First Baptist Church of Collierville, TN. There will be a private family burial following services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memphis Union Mission with First Baptist Church.
