Mary Wilson Flaniken, 91, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013. She is survived by her son, John A. Flaniken, III (Cheryl), Portland, ME; one brother, Leon Wilson (Marie); three sisters, Martha Turberville (Gordon); Margaret Jameson (Alfred); Wanda Hill (William); two sisters-in-law, Marie Wilson and Erline Wilson, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Flaniken, Jr.; her parents, Lawrence and Faye Perry Wilson; two brothers, Lawrence Wilson, Jr. and James G. Wilson and nephew Edwin Wilson. Mary was a retired Real Estate Broker. Memorials may be sent in her name to First Evangelical Church, 735 Ridge Lake Blvd, Memphis. A memorial service was held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at First Evangelical Church.
