Mary Louise Fowler, 87, wife of Wilborn Fowler, deceased, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at her home in Portland, TN. Mrs. Fowler lived in Memphis for 61 years and was a member of The Berclair Church of Christ. She loved gardening, traveling, family get-togethers and classic movies. She was an avid reader who believed you were never too old to learn. Mrs. Fowler is survived by one sister, Jennie Morring of Memphis; her daughters, Brenda Fowler of Memphis and Sandra Engelhardt (Jaye) of Portland, TN; four grandchildren, Jon Kirkham (Geri) of Woodlawn, TN, Amber Engelhardt Sherbrook of Dumfries, VA, Jaye Engelhardt, Jr. (Hope) of Virginia Beach, VA, Ken Engelhardt of Baltimore, Maryland; two great-grandchildren, Aiden Michael Kirkham of Woodlawn, TN and Felicity Hope Engelhardt of Virginia Beach, VA. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 26 and service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 27 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
