Mary Elizabeth Gay, 62, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away at home on February 21, 2017. She was born on January 5, 1955 in Memphis to the late, James Clint and Audrey Griffith. Mrs. Gay was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Greg Gay; son and daughter in law, Robert and Rachel Gay; daughter, Amy Brown; brother and sister in law, Daniel and Barbara Griffith; five grandchildren, Morgan Gadd, Breianna (Jarrett) Hays, Landen Gay, Sara Brown and Jaedyn Gay. Mrs. Gay was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, David Griffith; and son in law, Daniel Brown; and a great grandchild on the way. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 24 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following.
