Mary Ada Goodwin, 84, of Springville, TN passed away October 1, 2014
at her residence. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. and service immediately
following at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 4 at Forest Hill East Funeral
Home on Whitten Road. Mrs. Goodwin was born January 18, 1930 in
Springville, TN to the late Unice and Lula Hart. Mary was a former
member of Bartlett Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN. Avid bowler, and
enjoyed doing yardwork, gardening and most of all their retirement
home on Kentucky Lake. Before this she enjoyed many areas of
employment ending with Memphis Engine Re-builders where she and her
husband worked together. She is survived by her husband, Clyde
Goodwin of 38 years; two sons, Charles Dyer (Ruth) of Camden, TN, Mike
Dyer (Laura) of Memphis, TN; daughter, Theresa Smalley (Randy) of
Bartlett, TN; two step-sons, David Goodwin (Ann) of Southaven, MS,
Randy Goodwin of Covington, TN; step-daughter, Vicky Cox (Lindsey) of
Bernie, MO; sister, Imogene Wagon (Ted) and brother, Raymond Hart,
both of Paris, TN; 12 grandkids; 24 great grandkids, and a great great
grandkid that''s on the way. Mary was a wonderful wife, mom, aunt,
granny, friend to all and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers,
she had requested donations to the American Cancer Society.
