MARY ELIZABETH GOSS HOULDER. In Loving Memory. December 2, 1942 - November 17, 2012. Liz, age 69, of Gretna LA, formerly of Whitehaven, TN, passed away in her sleep after a long illness. She graduated from Whitehaven High School in 1960, attended Memphis State University and Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She was an avid and accomplished chef and loved to travel. She leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Jim Houlder; a son, Horace Houlder of Memphis; a brother, Brad Goss of Hernando, MS; a niece, Dana Seay of Clinton, SC; and a nephew, Rex Goss of Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Captain Horace Goss and Elizabeth Goss, and her brother, Kent Goss. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m.-2 p.m., November 23 at Forest Hill South on Holmes Rd., with services to follow.
