Mrs. Mary Jane Gullett, Age 86, of Bartlett, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Shelby Garden Place after a short illness. She was born to Tommy and Annie Flanigan in Memphis, Tennessee on April 29, 1931. Mary Jane was a member and servant of the Lord at Ellendale Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, traveling and serving others with her gift of cooking as the proud owner of Creative Weddings and Catering for over 40 years. She had a heart for family, missions, and orphans and gave selflessly to many in need in a Christ-like manner.
Mary Jane is survived by her husband of 63 years year, Mr. Clifton K. Gullett, two daughters, Janet Davis, and Debora Sills, four grandchildren, Susanne, Angie, Clifton, and Dewayne, as well as four great-granddaughters, Autumn, Alivia, Addalyn, and Lilly. She is the oldest of 13 children and is preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas, Ray, Melvin, Jimmy, Deanna,
Beverly, and James. She is survived by siblings Sally, C.B., Geneva, Barbara, and Sherry as well as loving in-law family, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Forest Hill Cemetery located at 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, Tennessee, 38133 with the funeral taking place the following day, November 9th at 10:00 am. Graveside service will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens located at 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, Tennessee, 38134.
