Mary Elizabeth Jones Hart "Noody", 95, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Mrs. Hart was born in Memphis, TN on January 30, 1928. She attended and graduated from Treadwell High School in Memphis. Mary Elizabeth "Noody" loved and worshiped her Lord and Savior. She served as a devoted and longest active member of Highland Heights Presbyterian Church as well as being honored as the third female Elder of the Church.

At the church she worked in the nursery, taught Sunday school, and was a devoted member of the choir for 60 years. She was presented an Honorary Life Membership by the Women of the Church of Highland Heights Presbyterian Church. She worked at Sears for twenty years. Then she began baby sitting.  Her life was devoted to her family and church. She cared for and nurtured several generations of her families' children including children of her church family; they lovingly knew her as "Mema".

Mary Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Ellie Sr., and Kathryn Jones; her husband, William (Bill) Hart, and her daughter Cathey Hart Goodman and son in-law, Mark Goodman.

She leaves three children, David Hart (Pam), Paul Hart (Lesa) and Judy McMillen (James), also eight grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
