Mary was a beloved and selfless daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, great grandmother and a good friend. Always putting others before herself. She was a beautiful soul, who loved well and was well loved. Mary was born on March 7th 1933 in Jackson, TN; she lived a long life, while touching many lives, with her selfless acts of kindness.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Mary E. Hudson and John P. Hudson, her two children, Joseph L. Daniel Jr. and Cindy A. Slaughter, her brother, John P. Hudson, Jr.

Mary is survived by her husband Virgil E. Atkins, her son Larry D. Atkins, her 3 grandchildren, Tiana J. Dodson, Andrea M. Daniel and Joseph L. Daniel, III and her four great grandchildren, Bailee E. Dodson, Isabella A. Linn, Leonora B. Daniel and Ephriam J. Daniel.
