Mary L. Howell, 89, of Memphis, passed away January 17, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital - Memphis.

Mary served as a longtime member of the Longview Heights Baptist Church. Mary also worked as the Pastry Chef for the Historic Peabody Hotel in Downtown Memphis. She had a true servant''s heart and loved her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother Lucille Poston; her son, Jessie David Howell; a brother George Poston; a sister Sara Turner and a grandson Joshua Walton. Those left to celebrate her life and legacy are her children, Sheri Housman, Randy Howell (Jana), Brenda Harper and Lynn Counce (Hank); seven grandchildren and ten great - grandchildren. Visitation will be held January 20, 2018 from 10 until 11am with Services to follow, both in our Chapel.
