Texas, Marble Falls - Mary Joan Howick, age 86, of Marble Falls Texas, passed away September 8, 2015. Visitation will be September 15, 2015 starting at 5 p.m. at Forest Hill East, 2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be held September 16, 2015 at Forest Hill East beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh- LaGrange Rd. Memphis, TN. Preacher Pat Casey of Berclair Church of Christ will be officiating, and the eulogy will be given by Bryan Acred. Mary was born in Ashland, Mississippi on July 25, 1929. She was married to William H. Howick on September 6, 2011. Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed Square and Round dancing, fishing and camping. Mary is survived by her spouse William H. Howick, children Ray and Bryan Acred, daughters-in law Margaret and Dawn Acred, grandchildren Miranda, Connor, Katelyn, Brittany, Luke and Hannah Acred, Brooke Wright, great-grandchild Wesley Wright, sister Jean Drummond and husband Perrin, and other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert R. Acred and son Timothy Alan Acred.
