Mary Jenkins, 89 , of Memphis, TN passed away on November 2, 2019.  She was born in Sledge, Ms and moved to Memphis in 1953.  Her life was dedicated to her loving family and her faith.  She was a long time member of New Church Memphis.  She worked at DeHart Marine for many years as a bookkeeper.   She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Jenkins; a son Howard Lawson Jenkins; and both of her parents.

Mary leaves to cherish her life, and certainly her legacy, her sons:  Dewey Jenkins (Melanie), and Troy Jenkins (Lisa), both of Memphis, Tennessee; eight grandchildren:  Laurie Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Amy Chadwick, Lisa Winger, Michah Jenkins, Jenna Jenkins, Jeremiah Jenkins and Hannah Jenkins; seven great grandchildren:  Landon Balton, Ty Winsett, Joel Chadwick, Drew Winger, Emma Winger, Jack Winger and Edie Winger.

The family will receive friends for a visitation service on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with the funeral service to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., both at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park East.
