Mary Jo Smith, 73, of Brighton, TN, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020. She was born on August 15, 1947 to the late Millard "Bob" and Ella Mae Degraw in Oxford, MS. Mary Jo was a retired Memphis business owner of Technology Windshield. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Donald C. Smith, Sr., and four of her brothers, Billy, Ronnie, Gregory, and Dennis Degraw.

Mary Jo was a kind hearted soul who was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed. She leaves behind one sister Janice Morris (Ronnie); two brothers Jackie and Bobby Degraw;  a daughter Sabrina Smith (Sam); a son Donald C. Smith, Jr. (Krysten); seven grandchildren: Meagan Tomlinson, Tyler Brogdon, Blake Wooten, Lacey Shelton, Samantha Robison, Hayden Miller, and Cody Smith; and six great grandchildren Aimee Jo, Shooter, Waylon, Bella, Sawyer, and Paisley. She also leaves behind an abundance of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Services will be held at Forest Hill Midtown on Monday, September 14, 2020. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., service at 10 a.m., and burial to follow on site.
