El Salvador, San Salvador - Dra Mary Chahin Kroomfel, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012. She was a lifelong Catholic, psychologist and a pioneer female pilot and paratrooper in the Salvadorian Air Force. Miss Kroomfel is survived by her two sisters, Angela Peyton (Forrest) of Memphis and Esther C. Baltz also of Memphis; nieces Linda Kronfel of New Orleans and Sandra Baltz, MD, and a nephew, Edward Peyton, both of Memphis. She is also survived by many loving cousins. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-12-30 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, with Mass to follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
