OLIVE BRANCH Mary Alice Laxton, 80, died Feb. 26 at Baptist DeSoto. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelly G. and Addie L. Perkins; one son, Paul Stanley Laxton; two daughters, Tina Rose Laxton and Shirley Ann McAwley. She leaves seven children, Herbert W. Laxton, Myrtle M. Byrd, Timoth R. Laxton, Linda D. Pharr, Rose Pebbles Nelms, Robert W. Laxton and Teresa L. Kinder; siblings, Joann Perkins, Louellen Mathews, Shelby Perkins, Eva Perkins, Kelley Perkins Jr., Cecil O.
