Mary Louise McAfee, 89, of Southaven, MS, passed away February 2, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Donald McAfee, Sr. and son, Joseph Donald McAfee, Jr.  She is survived by her 3 daughters, Stella McAfee (Jim) of Omaha, NE, Margaret Dunlap (Kerry) of Southaven, MS and Daryl Granger (Eric) of Memphis, TN.  She also leaves 6 grandchildren, Trent McAfee, Joseph Cole, Candice Cole, Lewis Dunlap, Danielle Granger and Gabrielle Granger.

Mary, also known as "Lollie" was deeply devoted to her family, instilling her children the importance of self-respect, courage and confidence.  Lollie enjoyed family gatherings with good food, good wine and lots of love and laughter.  She was always up for going South, so much so that the valets knew her by name.

It is with heavy hearts that the family bids goodbye, but takes comfort in the many memories of love, care and smiles that were shared over the years.

A special thank you to Jase Roberson for her extraordinary care and love that she provided along this long journey, and to Compassus Hospice for assisting our family during this difficult time.

Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018 from 5-7pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 1pm, with interment to follow.  All services and visitation will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park South. 2545 East Holmes Rd. Memphis, TN 901-346-3250
