Lake Cormorant - Mary Louise Owens Sartain, 85, went to be with the Lord April 3, 2012 at her home. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, the late John Edward Sartain, and her parents, the late L.W. and Eva Owens of Canton, MS. She is survived by her children: Rodney (Sue), Eva (Dennis) Hodson, Lawrence (Marilyn), and Jay (Cindy), all of Lake Cormorant, and one sister, Amy Small of Southaven. A beloved mother, sister and grandmother, she also leaves 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Horn Lake. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, April 5, from 5-7 p.m. at Forest Hill South and funeral services on Friday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church/Horn Lake, American Cancer Society, or St. Jude.
