Mary Virginia Murphy, 94, died Monday, February 27, 2017. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Charles Murphy; three daughters, Margaret Marcrum, Pamela Murphy and Rayma Murphy; a sister, Marjorie Grover; five grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Raymond Murphy; a son, Timothy Murphy; and sisters Alfreda Mossburg and Dorothy Curtis. Visitation will be held at noon on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South Chapel, with funeral services to follow at 2:00. Interment immediately following at Forest Hill Cemetery, South.
