Marynelle Lamb Flowers of Southaven, Mississippi passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 21, 2026, at the age of 98. Born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 10, 1928, she was the beloved daughter of the late Lowell Edgar Lamb and Grace Arquitt Lamb.

Marynelle became a Christian at an early age and never waivered in her faith. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and married Thomas A. Flowers in 1945. The couple owned Flowers Auto Supply and raised three Christian children. Marynelle was a member of Whitehaven Baptist Church for many years and is currently a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church.

Marynelle was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her brother, Edgar Lamb (Kathy); children Mike Flowers (Libby), Lynda Teems (Buddy), and Cathy Voyles; Grandchildren Michael Flowers (Sarah), Patricia Seaton (John), Daniel Voyles (Eileen), Stacey Voyles, Bobby Teems (Shellie) and Michael Teems; and 12 great grandchildren.

A private service will be held by the family with internment at Forest Hill South.
